Seiko and James Bond 007 had a history

It’s true. Roger Moore wore Seiko wristwatches in 4 of his 7 films during his 12-year career as British special agent 007. Most people think that the flamboyant spy only wore a Rolex before switching to an Omega in the 80s.

It is admirable that the Japanese watchmaker developed great gadgets not only to fit the character of the special agent but also to demonstrate the future technological capabilities in watch-making.

Below are some pictures from the James Bond series…enjoy!

Be careful of your watch on April’s fool day!

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpAObSaYpbI

No better way to be fooled this month! David Blaine, the great illusionist illustrates how easy it is for him to steal a wristwatch. He does a great job disappearing her watch but returns it later on. If he hadn’t done so, she would have been in the market for a new one and found us!

I need to practice this trick so I can use it when I am out socializing next time. :-)
